As a response to our invitation, Assistant Professor Xie Xuanli, from Guanghua School of management, Peking University, came to UIBE Business School and gave an academic forum to teachers、master students and doctoral students in November 29, 2013. Prof Wu Jianfeng was the presenter of this academic forum.

Asst Prof Xie incepted her PHD in University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, her major is strategic management. She has been worked on teaching and researching strategic management for a long time. And got great research experience and achievement on many tittle such as “corporate governance” and “innovation”. Several paper has been published in different journals and she won a best paper nomination of Strategic Management Association Conference.Now, her main work is teaching “strategic management”“innovation management” causes for MBA and graduate students in Guanghua School of management, Peking University.

The core topic of this academic forum is “How Product Diversification Patterns Differ Over Firm Age and Knowledge Domains: A Study of the US Generic Drug Industry”.We had a good communication and discussion here, found several advices to enrich this topic.
