Welcome to the Business School at the University of International Business and Economics (UIBE).

As a pioneer of management education in China, the Business School has been devoted to exploring and developing innovative models of management education in the global environment.

The Business School was founded in 1982, initially as the Department of Economic Management. Since then, we have been following the university’s motto “Erudition, Honesty, Endeavour, Perfection” and endeavoring to integrate Chinese and Western management theories and practices..

We firmly believe that management education should achieve the following goals: to create business leaders who can cope with the changing market and the structure of industries, allocate and integrate internal and external resources effectively; to help business leaders to formulate and implement strategies in order to satisfy stakeholder needs; to promote global vision and hands-on experience. More importantly, management education should adopt a global perspective given the fact that globalization has made it possible for education to be more open and culturally diversified.

To our pride, our efforts have turned our school into home to innovative teaching and research activities with an international perspective. Many of our faculty members are first-rate scholars who are highly regarded for their expertise in key business disciplines.
