Initiative on Honest Examinations — To All Undergraduate Students of the Business School

Dear Students,

Integrity is a traditional virtue of the Chinese nation and one of the basic moral qualities that every citizen should possess. As pillars of society, contemporary college students should take the lead in advocating and practicing integrity. Time flies, and a tense yet fulfilling semester is drawing to a close. We are about to face the final examinations again. To strengthen the school’s academic atmosphere and create a fair competitive examination environment, we urge all students to uphold the university motto of "Erudition, Integrity, Exploration, and Dedication," and work together to foster a culture where integrity is honored and dishonesty is condemned. In this spirit, we put forward the following initiative:

I. Earnestly Review and Actively Prepare for Examinations
Cherish your time and make thorough final review efforts on the basis of accumulated and consolidated knowledge. Arrange study time for each subject rationally, design scientific review plans, improve review efficiency, and prepare for the final examinations with full vitality and high morale.

II. Maintain a Correct Attitude and Face Examinations with Integrity
Examinations are an important means to assess teachers’ teaching outcomes and students’ learning performance, and also a key part of the school’s education and teaching management. Through examinations, students can identify various problems in their studies, which helps them conduct systematic and detailed analysis and summary of their learning situation, fill in knowledge gaps, and achieve the goal of promoting active learning.

III. Uphold Civilized Examination Ethics and Strictly Abide by Examination Disciplines
Consciously observing examination disciplines and taking examinations honestly is an obligation of every student. During examinations, students should strictly comply with examination room rules, seek truth from facts, and eliminate all forms of cheating. Respect invigilators, consciously maintain the examination environment, obey management, and demonstrate your true academic performance with a positive mindset and excellent character.

IV. Student Cadres and Party Members Play an Exemplary Leading Role
All student cadres and Party members should set an example, uphold the moral bottom line of integrity through practical actions, assist teachers in maintaining examination order, and guide fellow students to establish a correct view on examinations with their own deeds.

We hope all students will take active action, adjust their mindset, study earnestly, and take examinations with integrity.
