2. Apply for a passport as soon as possible. Students without a passport must submit a passport application to the Exit-Entry Administration Bureau within this week and fill in "Processing" in the passport number field. Students with existing passports should check their validity period (most countries require passports to be valid for more than 6 months after the end of the program).
3. Most exchange institutions do not provide on-campus accommodation. Please check the overseas institution’s official website in advance for rental information.
4. Carefully understand the program details and make a prudent decision based on personal circumstances before submitting the application. After being nominated, students shall not withdraw without valid reasons (such as schedule conflicts, parental disapproval, or unavailability of on-campus accommodation). Those who withdraw without justification will lose eligibility for future applications to other overseas exchange programs at our university. Senior students (fourth-year undergraduates/second-year postgraduates) should comprehensively consider their personal circumstances when applying for short-term exchange programs. Participation may affect job hunting, thesis writing, and thesis defense in China; please make a cautious decision based on individual situations.
