Release of Chinese Enterprises Globalization Cases & Roundtable Forum on AI Global Launch Held at UIBE
On January 9, the Release Ceremony of Chinese Enterprises’ Internationalization Cases & Roundtable Forum on AI Globalization was held at the University of International Business and Economics (UIBE). Co-hosted by UIBE Business School, the Research Center for Cross-border E-commerce Industry, and the Beijing Research Base for Enterprise Internationalization, the forum was themed “Globalization Practices of Chinese Enterprises and New Trends of AI Going Global”. It brought together more than 100 representatives from academic and industrial circles to explore in-depth paths for integrating internationalization strategies with cutting-edge technologies through case releases, keynote speeches and roundtable dialogues. Liu Wei, Director and Deputy Secretary-General of the China Talent Development Foundation for International Students, attended the forum.
Adhering to the strategic orientation of “internationalization-led, digital-intelligence driven, industry-university-research collaboration, and service-supported”, UIBE Business School deeply integrates academic research with corporate practice, promoting systematic, organized and cutting-edge scientific research. The forum showcased the phased achievements and forward-looking layout of the School in organized research.
Xing Xiaoqiang, Dean of UIBE Business School, presided over the release of Chinese enterprises’ internationalization cases. Focusing on three thematic modules, the cases systematically analyzed the achievements and experience of Chinese enterprises in global value chain integration, joint development under the Belt and Road Initiative, and European market expansion, comprehensively presenting the exploration paths and innovative practices of Chinese enterprises in their new-era internationalization journey. Eight faculty members from UIBE Business School delivered presentations, covering automotive, biomedicine, cultural media, energy and power, intelligent manufacturing and other industries, demonstrating the School’s interdisciplinary and cross-sector research capabilities and practical academic services.
Focusing on the cutting-edge topic of “AI Going Global”, the forum held a special roundtable dialogue. Participants included Jiang Wen, Founder & CEO of Beijing Jixin Thinking Technology Co., Ltd.; Huang Yan, Founder of ArtArch.AI; Pu Shilin, Co-founder of Pixel Bloom; Bai Yu, Co-founder of Laipic; Yu Yanyan, Founder of Orbis AI; Zhu Jigao, Vice Dean of UIBE Business School; and Xiong Wei, Associate Professor of Marketing.
To further empower the globalization of Chinese enterprises, UIBE Business School officially announced the launch of the Phase II Project for Chinese Enterprises’ Internationalization Case Development at the forum. Wang Bei, Director of the Research Center for Cross-border E-commerce Industry at UIBE, and Xing Xiaoqiang, Dean of UIBE Business School, signed a cooperation agreement.
This forum is a vivid practice of UIBE Business School in serving the national opening-up strategy and focusing on cutting-edge technologies through organized research. In the future, the School will continue to strengthen research organization, deepen industry-university-research collaborative innovation, and conduct sustained research on frontier directions such as global digital-intelligence innovation, artificial intelligence governance, and sustainable internationalization. With higher-level research outcomes, education and social services, it will support the university’s “Double First-Class” initiative and contribute UIBE’s wisdom and strength to advancing high-level opening-up and promoting sustainable global economic development.
