UIBE Business School Has BeenSuccessfully Re-accredited by the AMBA
The Association of MBAs （AMBA） officially notified on September 3rd 2022 that the Business School at University of International Business and Economics （UIBEBS） has been voted by the AMBA’s International Accreditation Advisory Board to get AMBA Re-accreditation. This is another landmark development for UIBEBS following its AMBA Initial Accreditation in 2017.
Founded in 1967, AMBA, together with Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business （AACSB） and European Quality ImprovementSystem （EQUIS）, are regarded as the three most authoritative accreditation systems of business schools worldwide. It is an accreditation system for MBA/EMBA/IMBA programs of business schools, focusing on the development of business education and management practice.
During June13rd-15th, the AMBAPanel VisitTeam （PVT） carefully reviewed and verified the materials provided in UIBEBS online workroom and hold three days online interviews with UIBE leadership, UIBEBS leadership, director and staff of MBA/EMBA/IMBA program. Through these sessions, PVT gained insight into UIBEBS strategic goals, achievements and future direction since InitialAMBA accreditation in 2017. Subsequently, the PVT and the UIBEBS leadership deeply discussed the topics as the school's governance system, faculty development, teaching innovation, talent training, alumni relations, social responsibility and other issues, and put forward targeted questions on the teaching management, curriculum design and assessment of MBA, EMBA and IMBA programs. The UIBEBS leadership and the relevant staff in charge of each program made replies on the relevant questions.
During the three days online interviews, the PVT conducted a comprehensive assessment of UIBEBS according to the AMBA accreditation standards and highly commended the school's efforts to maintain teaching and daily operations in the face of the COVID-19 pandemic. The PVT also put forward targeted suggestions on the continuous improvement of the curriculum and training objectives of MBA programs in UIBEBS.
Success of AMBA re-accreditation fully recognizes the achievements of UIBEBS in business education in the past five years, and is an important measure for UIBEBS to further improve its international reputation and influence. It also helps forward deepening the cooperation with other accredited universities and steps forward to the next five-year period AMBA accreditation.
