Abstract：Dr. Yan Zhang is a chair professor of Strategic Management at rice University's Jones School of Business. She is President Elect of the Strategic Management Society （SMS） and a Strategic Management Society Fellow. Professor Zhang yan's research interests include CEO succession and removal, senior leadership and corporate governance, family business succession, technology entrepreneurship and foreign direct investment in emerging economies. Her research achievements have been published in many authoritative journals in the field of management, including: Academy of Management Journal, Strategic Management Journal, Journal of International Business Studies Journal of Marketing, and Journal of Marketing Research. Professor Zhang Yan served as associate Editor of Academy of Management Journal and is currently associate Editor of Strategic Management Journal.
