Bio: Dr. Ye Zhen is Head of Finance & Energy at Coventry University London. He joined Coventry University London in 2015 from the private equity division of a Mayfair based hedge fund where he was Head of Operations/COO following his Executive MBA with Chicago University’s Booth School of Business. Peter started his academic career in the UK as Lecturer then Senior Lecturer in economics, finance and international business. He has taught and led Executive MBA courses in the UK, Gulf Cooperation Council （GCC）, Singapore and China since 2005. Appointed in 2007 as Professor of Industrial Economics at the Department of Public Finance, Xiamen University, Peter has also held visiting professorship with Peking University in China. Peter received his PhD in Applied Economics （University of Hertfordshire Research Studentship） in 2005, and LLM in International Trade in 2000 from Newcastle University. Peter has served as a referee for Cambridge University Press, Journal of Applied Economics and Regional Studies. Between 2009 and 2012, he advised the United Nations Industrial Development Organization （UNIDO） Headquarters as Senior Consultant Economist. Peter is an alumnus of Emerging Leaders Program at Harvard University’s John .F. Kennedy School of Government.
