Business School Were Invited to Attend KPMG Campus Briefing Session

For financial and economic universities, four accounting firms are no doubt a good starting point for career development. On September 24, 2013, Mr. Meng Dawei, deputy secretary of the Committee of Business School Party Branch and director of Career Development Center, together with Mr. Zhao Xuesong, monitor of graduating students in Business School, Mr. Deng Yifan, deputy secretary of the Youth League Committee of Business School Branch, Mr. Huang Xiao, chairman of Student Union, attended KPMG Campus Briefing Session, in order to know this year’s employment situation and provide better career guidance for Business School students.

This campus briefing session was themed by “My future, my say”. During the briefing session, representatives from auditing, tax and consulting gave attendees an outline of the whole business and environment. Also, HR director and partners from different departments answered students’ questions. They pointed out, this year KPMG would employ 400 people in Beijing, among which 70 percent would go to accounting, 15% tax and 15% consulting. The partners suggested that the graduating students should improve their professional competence and choose a job suitable to them.
 After the briefing session, Teacher Meng exchanged opinions with the managing partner of KPMG North China, HR staff, and expressed his best wishes to the alumni in KPMG, in the hope that two sides could further their cooperation.
