Innovation and Entrepreneurship make elites in the future
On the afternoon of October 11th, 2012, 2012 Beijing College Student Innovation and Entrepreneurship competition in University of International Business and Economics was successfully held in Room 118 of Chengxin Building. This competition has 9 teams selected after many tryouts.
University of International Business and Economics has paid much attention to this competition with Office of Educational Administration, Employment Guide and Service Center, Youth League Committee of UIBE, and Business School providing much support. Judges of this competition are director of Office of Educational Administration Wang Lijuan, Party Secretary-General of Institute of International Relations Xu Song, UIBE League member Yu Hongbin, deputy Dean of Business School Wang Yonggui, deputy director of Accounting Department of Business School Qian Aimen, deputy director of Statistics Department of Business School Xing Xiaoqiang, Dean Assistant of Business School and Employment guider Wang Yang, and Business War simulation expert Hu Yulong, and also presenting College Office Director Xiao Yi, professor Li Bumei, professor You Lei. The competition is hosted by deputy Dean Wang Yonggui and professor Xiao Yi. Before the competition, Professor Wang Yonggui emphasized the support given by UIBE and Business School, and gave thanks to all teachers and teams involved. Then, Director of Office of Educational Administration Wang Lijuan gave a brief introduction of this competition and expressed praise and best wishes to all candidates.
The competition contains two parts. First, the team has to introduce its entrepreneurship program. Candidates presented their Powerpoints in the respects of motivation, current situation of market, strategy location, profit model, selling strategy, financial channels, and market expectation with confidence and fluency, which made the competition fantastic.
After the presentation, judges came up with come questions and advice to these programs in data collection, validity, and company expectation, etc. This made candidates got a better understanding of their programs.
Then, Professor Xu Song gave a brief conclusion of this competition and affirmed the innovation ability of all participants.
After the competition, all the teams went to the stage to take their prize, and director of Office of Educational Administration Wang Lijuan representing UIBE gave certificate of honor to the first prize winner.
